Orchestra Toscana

We had class again this morning. So far, I’ve gotten away with only doing the first day’s reading. It's really unnecessary.

After class, we went to the travel agent to get our train tickets fro Cinque Terre. She speaks English and is very helpful. It is much easier to have someone help us get tickets for 21 rather than all show up at the train station and get tickets. Plus, Amy and I decided we wanted to stop and see the leaning tower in the way back while we are in Pisa since we have to change trains where anyway and the TrenItalia website is slightly confusing.

After lunch, we all pretty much did school work for class. The science class is split up into two sections each taught by different professors: this week and the week we get back from Florence. For this part, instead of a test, we have these group debates. My group was assigned to argue pro legalizing euthanasia. Again not sure what it has to do with biochemistry…or any of the topics for that matter.

After dinner, we had the opportunity to see the Tuscan Orchestra at the theater in Cortona. It was absolutely amazing! So glad I went!
