Here Goes Nothing

Attention please, I decided to attempt this blogging business myself. Make note of this date, for it is groundbreaking point in history (or at least my life). I must be crazy or not thinking this through, but with little persuasion I decided to add yet anther thing to fit into my already chaotic schedule.  However, I have seen friends keep up with theirs and make memories by documenting their thoughts and lives, something I want to be able to look back on and say I did. I hate to write, but hopefully this will be different and actually enjoyable. Plus, in my spare time, I find myself just staring at Facebook waiting for more newsfeed to be posted, then getting frustrated with myself because I can't find anything better to do. This will be an excellent alternative, again hopefully. Needless to say, is please don't expect new posts too often.

So as you may see in this nifty little gadget titled "About Me" to your left, I am currently a freshman at the University of Georgia. So, I figured what better time than now, start a blog and make the memories of my transition into adulthood (still a scary thought). There is no telling how long this will last, but who knows, this blog may see my days of graduation from college, falling in love, marriage, and even children. But then again, maybe I'm being a little too optimistic about this whole blogging thing.

Also, I am bit of an over-analyzer, so new posts will most definitely take a while to not only be written, but also to be just posted. I will type and retype what I want to say 135 times before I am satisfied with the way it is written, similarly to what I have already done with this post. Then I will need just enough confidence to let the world read it.

Lastly, I sincerely apologize, but I am not an English major, in fact the complete opposite.   If you don't like the way something is worded or there is a grammar or spelling mistake, don't tell me. I just finished my last english class EVER (praise the Lord), and I would appreciate it if I don't have to relive it. If you are smart enough to find the mistake, I'm sure you are smart enough to understand what I am trying to say :).

I'm not sure what kinds of things I will posting here, so this will be as much of a surprise for me as it is for you. I have absolutely no idea where this will lead me. I'm just going to go with the flow for once in my life, so here goes nothing. All I know is that we all have been given time on this earth, we each have a story to tell with our lives and this is my story. Thank you Google.
